Fireworks Sales & Permits 2024

We have updated our policies, procedures, and added an online form for Fireworks Booth Permits. These updates to our website are intended to help non-profit organizations navigate the District's permit process.

TIMELINES:

  • Applications must be SUBMITTED before February  22, 2024, by 3:00 pm.
  • Supplemental Documentation Required by May 8, 2024, by 3:00 pm.
  • Fee Payment Required by May 15, 2024. (As well as any corrected supplemental documents)

Supplemental Documentation Requirements

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION MUST BE SUBMITTED BY WEDNESDAY,  MAY 8, 2024 by 3:00 p.m.:

  1. Appendix A - Fireworks Stand Location and Storage of “Safe and Sane” Fireworks;
  2. Appendix B - Proof of insurance (as specified in NCFPD/Kerman SOP for requirements);
  3. Appendix C - Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement;
  4. Appendix E - Property Owner’s Permission to erect a fireworks stand;
  5. Site plan (to include the storage container and all dimensions if storing on site);
  6. State Fire Marshal’s License Application;
  7. Temporary Seller’s Permit;
  8. Remit to NCFPD a check or money order for $ $626.00 (Make check payable to NCFPD);
  9. City of Kerman Fireworks Application
  10. Remit to NCFPD a check or money order for $40.00 (if fireworks stand is located in the City of Kerman) Make check payable to the City of Kerman.
